That star came from a clump of matter, and that clump could have come from another star or from the big bang itself. Where did the big bang come from? Nobody knows for 100% sure yet. That's right, we don't know. At least I'm honest enough to say it and not saying I don't know therefore god did it. Unfortunately, that burning hole happens to be anything but. I am sorry that you cannot understand that God breathes life and is not idle nor aloof. The biggest burning hole in atheism is the absence of origin. Where do we come from? Take evolution--where did the molecules of gas come from that caused the world to exist? Science tells us that mass cannot be created or destroyed, so where did the origin of the mass come from?
